Bokens första mening: Brendan Walker knew the package would be there by eight a.m.

Handling:
Since their last adventure, life in the Walker household is much improved. Dahlia Kristoff (aka the Wind Witch) has been banished. And now the Walkers are... rich! Min åsikt:
Som den första boken tar även den andra boken med en på ett stort äventyr och jag gillar denna boken lika mycket som den andra. Dock så kändes det som att det hände lite för lite om man jämför med den första boken. Jag tyckte också att äventyret slutade för snabbt, jag hade velat ha mer!
När jag började läsa boken så blev man påmind av författaren vad som har hänt i den första boken och det gillar jag. Eftersom jag oftast tar en paus mellan en bokserie och tenderar att glömma ett par saker så fanns det med att påminna en om hur läget ser ut i början av boken.
Jag började läsa den här boken ett par dagar innan jag själv skulle resa till Rom och jag hade glömt att den utspelade sig i Rom (Colosseum). Det är alltid lika spännande att läsa en bok som utspelar sig där man är. Så som Colosseum beskrevs i boken och den uppfattningen jag hade av Colosseum stämde inte alls överens, så jag blev lite besviken när jag fick se insidan av Colosseum. Men utsidan är verkligen värd att se med egna ögon, så stort och vackert.
Ifall jag inte vetat att det kommer en till bok i serien så hade jag trott att det här var slutet eftersom de säljer sitt hus där allt utspelar sig. Så jag vet inte hur det kommer att vara i tredje boken, de kanske köper huset igen eller bryter sig in. För det blir ingen serie utan ett Kristoffs hus... eller?!

Avslutar "min åsikt" med att vissa en fin bild på Colosseum som jag själv har tagit i Rom =)

Handling: 
Brendan, Elenor, and Cordelia Walker once had everything: two loving parents, a beautiful house in San Francisco, and all the portable electronic devices they could want. But everything changed when Dr. Walker lost his job in the wake of a mysterious incident.    By the time the Walkers realize that one of their neighbors has sinister plans for them, they're banished to a primeval forest way of the grid. Their parents? Gone. Their friends? A world away. Min åsikt:
Jag gillar karaktärerna i boken, de tre syskonen som är så underhållande. Trots att jag trodde boken skulle vara lite annorlunda, så var den bra ändå. Jag "sögs" inte in i boken som man gör när man läser en bok man älskar. Berättelsen var helt okej, det som gör boken är karaktärerna!
  Det hände något hela tiden vilket jag gillar, och jag gillar också att kapitlen var så korta. Jag tycker början av boken var nog det jag gillade bäst i hela boken, den började verkligen jättebra. Då familjen var tillsammans och hade sina interna skämt och det var något mystiskt med deras hus som pågick. Det var i princip bara tre kapitel eftersom allt hände så snabbt. Ena stunden var de i huset och andra i någon annan värld.
Jag vet inte vad jag kan säga mer än att jag varken älskade den eller avskydde den. Den kommer någonstans mitt emellan därför får den en trea. Det är en bra bok att läsa ifall du vill ut på ett äventyr, för ett långt äventyr var det och det gillar jag.
